To further meet the development needs of enterprises and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results between the university and enterprises, on the morning of April 3, Chen Guangyan, the director of the Technology Department of Guizhou Yellow Cattle Industry Group Co., Ltd. and the chairman of Guizhou Yellow Cattle Industry Group Technology Service Co., Ltd., led a delegation of 5 people to visit the Big Data and Information Engineering College (hereinafter referred to as our college) to discuss cooperation matters. Wang Aihua, the director of Guizhou University Science Park, Chen Yong, the secretary of the Party Committee of our college, Ding Zhao, the deputy head of our college, and representatives of teachers attended the negotiation meeting. This meeting was hosted by Chen Yong.
At the meeting, Chen Yong first extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Chen Guangyan, and said, Supporting the high-quality development of enterprises with universities is conducive to accelerating the deep integration of industry, university, and research. I hope that this negotiation can further deepen the understanding and linkage between universities and enterprises, deepen cooperation, and promote the implementation of talent cultivation, industry-university-research cooperation, and other issues between universities and enterprises.
Then, Ding Zhao introduced in detail the advantages and characteristics of various disciplines in our college, including electronic science, information and communication engineering, big data science and engineering, as well as related research directions. He pointed out that both sides could find cooperation focuses based on their own advantages and needs. Chen Guangyan said that in the Internet era, the Yellow Cattle Industry Group strives to create a smart cattle breeding path combining grass-roots breeding with big data, explore the establishment of a complete set of digital and systematic management mode, and promote the high-quality and sustainable development of the beef cattle industry and rural economy. He pointed out that the digital and systematic management mode is currently an urgent shortcoming and pain point that the group needs to solve, and eagerly hopes that our college can leverage its academic advantages and professional expertise to provide technical and talent support for the group. Subsequently, the participants conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges around this demand issue.
Finally, Wang Aihua, the director of Guizhou University Science Park, said that as a platform for university-enterprise cooperation, the Science Park will fully play the role of a bridge and link, further strengthen the close ties between enterprises and universities, integrate resources based on the needs and advantages of both sides, and strive to promote the cooperation between universities and enterprises to take root and bear fruit.
